Aditya Prakash, an award-winning Carnatic vocalist known for his powerful and emotive voice, has studied intensively under renowned gurus in India. Aditya’s foundation in Carnatic classical music has paved the way for him to foray into a number of creative experiments and artistic endeavors including performance, composition and artistic direction. Aditya is also one of the rare musicians to have successfully bridged cultural gaps through his collaborations with Pandit Ravi Shankar, Anoushka Shankar, Karsh Kale and Salim Merchant to name a few. Although Aditya experiments with his craft through collaboration and composition, he continues to perform traditional Carnatic concerts to much acclaim.
